My name is Demetris
Timotheou and I was born in Larnaka in 1974.
Since I was a small kid, I owned various
breeds of dogs.
In
1988 I started studying available
bibliography on Bull terriers. My
interest for Bull terrier dogs was triggered
when I first saw a Bull terrier during a
visit to England. Since 1988
until today I continue to observe the breed
and educate my self. In 1991 I
decided to buy a Bull terrier from England
for my self.
His name
was Mondy. Mondy was growing up and
so
I
decided to buy a female Pull terrier and
make a family.
In 1997 the first female Bull
Terrier arrived in Cyprus. Her name was Greka.
When Greka was three months old,
various friends with expertise in dog shows,
suggested
that my dogs should
participate. The participation of my dogs in
the various dogs shows increased
my interest
on the breed of Bull terrier. I decided to
bring another
dog and I was looking for
perfect morphology.
In search to find another
Bull terrier, I discovered that a
newly born Bull terrier in Ukraine had
perfect morphology. I travelled there to
study their characteristics. After 10 years
of experience and study of the breed of Bull
terrier, I was sure that one of the newborns
was the dog I was looking for. I
returned to Cyprus with Miss Dior.
In 1988 I lost Greka with
a heart problem. In the same year, 1988,
Miss Dior participated in the dog show in
the age group 6-9 months old. She won “best
of puppy” (Along in the ring) in her breed
as well as “best puppy of the show”.
